Salt Lake Temple–Tyler’s Endowment

Dan’s brother is leaving for a mission in two weeks. We were able to go to the temple with him yesterday to support him in his choice to serve God for two years spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ! We are so excited and know what a challenging, but rewarding time it will be for him.

We were able to attend with Betsy and Walter Thomas – paternal grandparents

And Tyler – looking SO sharp!

Why don’t you ask Dan about what happened after he chose to do this in the photo – look at the pure disgust on my face. Remember all those photos of Brookie during our S’more FHE last post? Now you know where she gets her silly faces from… Dan.

And no, there wasn’t even some food in that tummy… it is empty people, empty!

The sun was so intense that these photos aren’t my favorite, but all the shady spots were being used by brides or we couldn’t reach them with Walter in a wheelchair.

This is where Dan proposed to me on October 6, 2005. Almost 7 years ago!

We had such a neat experience there. After the endowment session, we were able to go do some sealings. We were able to seal Beverley’s parents together (who are deceased) and then Bev to her parents. Then we were able to seal a deceased son to Walter and Betsy. Then we did Bev’s parents to their parents and some siblings too.

It was a very special day. I LOVED being buddies with Betsy. I just love her spunk and kindness.
