Abi has been such a great help around the house lately. She is really into mimicking what we do. It has been fun to teach her.

Dan and I went to a Murder Mystery dinner the other week! We were Dracula and the Bride of Dracula! We had such a wonderful time at this annual Haunt! Thanks Phillips!

Bewitched

This was our Ballroom performance this past week... and my Brother-in-law Cam's as well! Abi decided to take to the floor that night as well!

We got really lucky and my mom was here this week. She was so much help and was able to watch me dance which means a lot to me!

And I just happened to look in the garbage just now and found my wallet neatly placed... oh girl!

Right now...

Abi has had a productive last 5 minutes. She discovered the candy bowl on the kitchen table. She talked on my caluculator to Mema (grandma) and then proceeded to type on it like a computer. She found a leatherman knife in one of Dan's desk drawers (that was a HUGE shock as she opened it first thing). She then found Dan's Pez dispenser and needless to say Abi enjoyed those last precious Pez while coloring on my homework with a scripture marker.
I hope my professor enjoys that...

Random

The other night before I left for school, I politely asked Dan if he ould clean p the kitchen just a little bit (there were dirty dishes and some counters that needed cleaned up). What I didn’t do was ask Abi if she would also keep the kitchen clean. I came home to a clean top half of the kitchen, but someone named Abi unloaded the bottom.

Abi’s latest obsession? Begging for the dishtowel after we wash and wipe her hands. Then she parades around the house with it. Don’t you love this Sound of Music pose?

On Top of Everything Else...

If you haven’t already figured out that I am SWAMPED with school... I am. Not only was last week such a crazy busy week with the normal, everyday demands, I had midterms, ballroom competitions, a 20 hour landscape design project, and Dan hunting for some days.But one of my dear friends got married and he asked me to do his wedding flowers. I couldn’t resist! I LOVED planning this with spreadsheets and pulling photos of inspiration from the web!

The Jones’ wedding turned out just FABULOUS! Their reception was a carnival theme with tickets, booths, and prizes. I will post some photos of the actual reception when they post them...

Meanwhile... just imagine me in my Neon Star PJ’s at 3am Thursday night doing flowers (pj’s pictured below)! Then waking up at 4:30am to get the flowers to the Wedding Party for the temple. It took hours to do everything that I needed to get done! My house smelled wonderful and it was such an accomplishment! I am so grateful for my sweetheart who stayed up to help me Thursday night and transport the flowers for the reception Friday night. Huge event and

Conference in Colorado

We enjoyed a wonderful and quick conference weekend in Colorado with my family. My grandparent’s came down to enjoy Abi as well :)
