Last Saturday we went to feed the ducks with my my mom. It was such a beautiful day that I didn’t even wear a jacket! Oh how I am craving more of that weather now! (It was only like 14 degrees today).
Abigail wanted to pet all the ducks and geese…
And seriously, this is a porcupine! They are nocturnal and sleep in trees!
You may laugh, but what makes this such a great photo is that Abi is ALWAYS picking her nose. I totally thought way back when she was turning one that this stage would pass… um nope. Oh it is just hilarious!

Being a goose herself!

Mima teaching her to skip

And for all those interested… me in all my prego glory. Actually, this photo was taken for Dan who said he wanted to see me and Abigail together. How we miss him! We are going on a month this weekend since we have seen him… and it is looking like one more month to go. It just breaks my heart and has been so tough, but I am just so grateful that he is patient with my impatience. I am so not perfect (hence this photo of me with no shower and all hair and make-up from the day before).

I heard a quote yesterday that I really like - “There is tremendous strength in vulnerability.” That when you are vulnerable, you aren’t void of strength. It really helped me through the next couple of hours… and get the guts to post these photos. I wish I could just hide in my little farm house in NY again for this pregnancy.
We are home now, but are headed back to Colorado at the end of this week. I had a whole bunch of things to get done here like rent, bills, library books and such. You may wonder why I am only here a couple of days… but I seriously need the company. having other people around helps me stay on top of my game (in being mom, wife, exercise, eating). Due to pregnancy, the time of year, our situation, I fall into this deep, dark depression when I am alone and have nothing to keep my busy. It is painful because I KNOW that I can be better… so here’s to those people that make me at my best. I need you!
And I can save money on heat!
