Finishing September

Can you believe that tomorrow is October?!? This month has been slow and fast all at the same time. We sure had a good month. We had great goals, started school off well, have worked through some trials steadily, and have kept a fairly good routine all month... we'll see what next month brings---

Dan brought me some bolts for a project. True love right here-

My basil revived after not being watered for a month!

We started the massive landscaping project... this has burned my to do list for over two years. I am SO ready to get this all going...

Sister Backus spoiled me---

The girls spoiled Eliza---

I spoiled Brookie and finally made her pillows for her bed... it only took me two years!!!

Dan and I ran away to the temple---

And then we ran away to the mountains and conquered and checked a bucket list adventure!!! Incredible day!

Abi got bit by a turtle--- holding animals again---

We sat as a family and watched the Supermoon Lunar Eclipse. It was SO neat!!!

Oh I love this face!!!

And this one---

On to the next!!!

My Budding Artists

I love the days when I find random photos on my phone that tell a story. This story is about two girls who love to help their mom with a floral business. The mother felt truly inspired to have them create their own pieces and then was even more inspired to have them go do their own "editorial shoot". This is what the "Mom Win" transpired into... and how pleased she was at her artists creations and view of it all ---

Riss Floral - Mila Adams Shoot

Again, I am just so lucky to work with so many wonderful people. Mila Adams is a great photographer and captured this couple so well! This bouquet was kind of last minute but was a great piece too.

September Daily Life

We had a great FHE on our bodies being temples---

This seems to be where Eliza spends most of her time---

We had crazy hair day---

And this is the other half of her time--- (Dan fed her this morning)

Speaking of time, I love my FitBit

We hiked Bridal Veil Falls with ten thousand others---

We wiped out our girls---

I worked out more and more--- PS... this people, is what you are supposed to look like after a workout. Not done up, not hair did, but sweaty, disgusting, satisfied aftershot---

We had a couple of Oreo counsels... which I now really look forward to :)

Brookie helped me with Homecoming flower prep-

Dan ran a fifty miler with little training and took third place! I don't know how his body is built like that, but is surely runs in his family be two weeks later he ran another one with his dad because his dad ran the wasatch 100... yep, 100 stinking miles. Kind of wish I had that in me. Overall, so proud of this guy!

Eliza unloading---

It's official now!!!

This is the face I have been getting more and more often---
