Abi and I have been reading our first chapter book together. She picked out The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Catling.
We just finished yesterday. It was really fun talking to her and imagining how it would be if everything our lips touched turned to chocolate. We also liked that this book was about the consequences of not telling the truth or obeying your parents. Very applicable right now with Abi.
This has become such a great ritual that I have thoroughly enjoyed with Abigail. Tonight we started Esio Trot by Roald Dahl.

Too fun! You are such a cute mom. I love reading chapter books with our girls at night too. Right now we're reading the BFG by Roald Dahl. It's amazing how much even Kaleigh gets into it.
