We took our first swim of the summer last week with grandma Thomas and uncle Tyler. We were also lucky to have Dan come – perks of working for your parents.
Abi’s law of swimming is “Thou shalt not splash of any sort” – which is completely irrational at the pool.
Brookie’s law of swimming is “Thou shalt taste the water whenever no one is holding on good enough.” – which keeps us all on edge with her… at least me because everyone told me to “chill out”
The best part of the day was handing the girls over to Bev for ten minutes so I could go on some of the tube rides. I screamed in Dan’s ear enough to get back at his earlier comment. And it felt so good!
The second best part, watching Dan and Tyler try to get our Ikea (you know those instructions) sun tent back into it’s small pouch… what a joke!!!
