December Happenings

December FLEW by us in a whirlwind and we just tried to keep up!

We delivered gifts to friends in the ward. It was the first year that I was able to send the girls to doors by themselves a couple of times. They are getting so grown up. My B isn’t my baby anymore and A is just a bubbly, happy girl who can have pretty deep conversations now.

We had to warm up with some hot cocoa afterwards. We may or may not have sneaked in a bit of nutella into our cocoa. B warmed up right quick with hot cocoa down the front of her too. But we got these cups at World Market and they are the best! Small enough for little hands and little portions.

We went to school to watch Abi’s Christmas Sing-in. They sang Must be Santa. She is so talented in the music department. She remembers all the words and sings in tune all the time. The best part? Dan actually made it to her performance! Truly a miracle and tender mercy.

This was the Christmas present she made for me in class. My first one! It melted my heart. She was so proud that she put three different patterns on one candy “can.” She even had to document it for me. *side note – she calls candy corns and candy canes, candy cans. We have been working on it for years with no success.*
