for mother’s day we were able to have a kid free night up in deer valley with some friends from our ward here. they were so sweet to invite us and dan’s parents were so sweet to watch the girls.
we had such a wonderful time:
- checking out the myriads of rooms and bathrooms
- loving the heated stone floors
- staying up until wee hours in the morning playing games
- covering every subject under the sun with our friends – it just flowed from one to the next without any awkwardness
- eating dessert after every meal
- hot tub at midnight
- the bounce house in the basement
- watching movies
- no complaining – no need to please
- sun and sun burns to take home
- great artwork throughout the house
- sleeping in
- not waking up in the middle of the night
- thinking we were locked out of the house
- more games
- the freaky train puzzle that kept sounding in the night that we hid in another rooms’ closet
- the view
- the new “views” on life that we took home
(dan is dying that there is no capital letters in this post… it didn’t bother me until he said something so here… A)
