Dan and I went on our first date this past week... ALONE!!! It was hard, but it was healing for our relationship. We attended Savior of the World put on at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake. It was such a beautiful performance. My cousin McKay was also in it and that made it all the better... way to be McKay! We met some great people and felt such a wonderful spirit. It feels SO nice to be HOME!!!
Abi was good for Grandma Thomas that night... although she didn't want to go to sleep. However, the instant that I got her in my arms she was out... go figure! She has been giggling this week and it is SO SO SO cute! Our quota is about two a day, but she seems to be able to do it longer now too. I hope that we can get a good one on video soon.
We have been unpacking our new apartment in Holladay this week. We have moved in but can't live there until Jan 1st which is nice since we will be in Colorado for the rest of the month.

How does it feel to be back in Utah? What will you be doing while living here? Is it more permanent or are you destined to globe trot?
Glad you guys made it out on a date. It always seems worth the hassle it takes to set up a babysitter and make those happen. Rachel and I really enjoyed a two-day anniversary trip to the Oregon coast this week (Grandma watched the kids). Being this far away from home it is difficult to get opportunities like that. Now you guys are back in Utah maybe you can get out together more often.
