For a Christmas present, I took our best friends’ photos. They have such a cute family and were such sports on how cold it was.
And of course, their surrogate kids :)
Uncle Ben bought everyone suckers for being so good – hilarious! My favorite part of the day.

Of course, as fate would have it, these guys are moving to Finland for good in eleven days :( boo for us but yay for them. We will so miss them.
For another date Dan and I went and did indoor skydiving. We had one of our YW come and meet us there to watch the girls so they could watch us.
Oh man! This was right up my alley. Dan can even attest of his jealousy that I didn’t even need the instructor’s help because I was so awesome and in control. I can’t wait to go again!
Later in the day, Dan surprised me with a date. I had been wanting to see Anberlin in concert but we couldn’t afford it with Christmas coming up. So Dan got a babysitter and took me out to get my mind off of the concert.
It was pure torture driving past the venue where the concert was knowing that I was going to be so close, yet so far. But Dan had other plans when he pulled in. Merry Christmas from Dan! What a perfect ending to a jam packed adventurous day!
One of our December activities was to head down to temple square and see the lights and temple. The girls were way excited which was good because it was about 10* with a wind chill of frigid.
Temple square was packed and it was so nice to be in the heart of Christmas. Gorgeous!
Abi insisted that she show her gloves from Grandma Thomas.
We ate dinner before with Uncle Cam and Kody and then stopped at their apartment afterwards to warm up with Cocoa and cookies. It was such an enjoyable time with them.
