For a Sunday evening this past month, we took Abi to the temple and took some photos of her for her upcoming baptism. We are thrilled with her excitement to be baptized and to make her first covenants with Heavenly Father. She is on the right track!
As a side note - this dress is the dress my mother made that I wore to the Salt Lake City temple at age 8 1/2 years old when my little brother Erik was sealed to our family for eternity. This dress and that experience are still so clear and were guiding lights in my path to make it back to the temple to be sealed to Dan. I can't say how touched I was that Abi chose to wear this dress above all others and thinks it is really neat to wear her mom's clothes. She is definitely skinnier than I was and way more petite but about the same height so it will work just great. But I hope, more than anything, that she can continue also towards the temple to make more covenants when the time comes.
