my mom was here last week and what fun we had! we kept with our springtime tradition of going to temple square with the girls. this time we were able to take the train downtown. it was such a great adventure!

one of our best friends had a birthday party the other week and these are the photos from it. it was such a pleasant day, the kids were awesome, and, as always, we hung around after everyone else left… that is always my favorite thing at the Merrill's.
the kids didn’t want to get their pants wet so they all took them off… good logic on their part. I wonder who came up with the idea.
When we left, I bawled for at least twenty minutes. I so don’t like living far away from the Merrill family. Maybe someday we can end up closer to them.
I know that I haven’t been good with keeping up lately… it has gotten warm and our schedule has gotten packed. And, at the same time, we were all sick… again. But we are healthy now and running ahead! It is like May is already gone for us. I hope to be able to try to enjoy all the moments to come. We have lots to look forward to- as you have these cute photos to look forward to-
