just put it in… ON TO THE NEXT THOMAS ADVENTURE!!!
stay tuned-
I could go on. Well actually, ABI could go on and does go on, and on, and on, and on…
Over the past three weeks we have gone from about 100 questions a day to over 2000! She is all about where, what, and why. It has been tough to get used to. She doesn’t stop asking her question until you respond… and respond with the right answer or one that she is satisfied with. However, then she usually follows up with another question.
Dan and I are “combating” this with asking her questions in response to what she asks. We also don’t like her to ask one word questions so we try to avoid them or help her reword her question. It is exhausting! My parent’s were overwhelmed a bit this past trip home.
Some of the funny questions we have received are the following:
She was outside riding her bike and ran over a beetle. She stopped, picked up its head and asked my mom and me, “Does this go with it?” Meaning, does the head go with the body still laying on the ground.
“Can I see it?” always wanting to see Brooklyn’s diapers.
Even though this isn’t a question, it made us laugh. She saw a neighbor girl walking home from school and said, “Look at that child.” Like Abi’s an adult. So her-
She also likes to steal our utensils during prayer on the meal.
She plays dress up and dances or does gymnastics ALL day long. She is quite obsessed with the full length mirror in the hallway – that’s my girl :)
And finally, she LOVES to throw fits and is quite dramatic with them too. Sometimes I laugh out loud at them. I probably shouldn’t… just can’t help it.
She WEARS me out! I so love this girl.
