redneck greenhouse colorado part 2

I am so lucky to have landscape design in my education. I can’t believe how many times it has come in handy already. I attribute my talent in this to my parents who are avid gardeners and are so good at what they do. they are just detailed and know so much about how to create beautiful, low maintenance gardens. my mom and I took some time to design her front garden beds.

after seeing my mom’s wonderful ideas and getting a list down we went to some greenhouses. this one is a bit run down, off the beaten path, and the owner was missing his front teeth. all the flats that you use to put your flowers in are all beer boxes too. but the flowers were GORGEOUS and SUCH good prices. It was so much fun and abi was so good!

in mima’s garden colorado part 1

dan had another business trip to go on this week… thankfully it was only three days! but I used it as an opportunity to go to colorado for one last hurrah with my family before I have this girly and before my brother and his family move across the country next month.

my mom has the most gorgeous veggie garden that she and my dad designed. she gets the most plentiful harvest from it and I just love to be in it… especially with abi and libby. those two make quite the pair together.
